This light came on and my car started to run like crap. This happend after gasing up. The message comes and goes and the car runs ok off and on. Is this problem with the fuel and will it go away after this tank of fuel is empty or should I take her in.

Note - are you sure you put the correct grade of fuel into the car?
Has the garage had any complaints of poor gas quality ( water in the fuel? It has been known )

Check to see if your gas cap is on properly if it is read the codes and post it on the forum and we will try to help.

You are sure its gas and not diesel? Don't laugh this has happened alot. Pull trouble codes, report back and I will be glad to help. Oh and do not drive it anymore until you do as you may create much more damage.
