Engine out of the top - cats on or off?

Engine out of the top - cats on or off?
I need to pull the engine and trans out through the top (out of bottom is not feasible for me) and I'm wondering if it will come out with the cats still attached to the exhaust manifold? Anyone done it and know for certain?
