Reporting back with additional info from last night.

1. Cleared all the codes (except for P1000, as expected).
2. Removed the battery and placed on charge. Charger indicated 80%, is it normal after only three cranking attempts on the previous night for the battery to drop 20%?!?
3. Touched negative and positive battery cables for about 30 sec.
4. Reinstalled the battery with 100% charge.
5. Confirmed the codes are still clear except for P1000.
6. Started the car:
7. Checked the codes:
P0351, Ignition Coil A Primary / Secondary Circuit
P0354, Ignition Coil D Primary / Secondary Circuit
P0356, Ignition Coil F Primary / Secondary Circuit
P0357, Ignition Coil G Primary / Secondary Circuit
P1367
P1368
P1000

After searching this forum and some other on-line info, it is my humble opinion I am dealing with the ECU failure. Would like to hear from the experts on this forum please.

Thank you.

Yes, ECU failure. There are a couple of repair facilities. I used ASI and had no further problems. You have the exact symptoms many of us with the 97 observed.

Just got off the phone with Automotive Scientific. Wat told yesterday that the repair is completed and the ECU is being shipped. Called today to confirm and supposedly "the damage to the unit is extensive" and it is not even done yet. So nothing to report, I have a fairly big paper weight sitting at home

Got the ECU module back today. First start was successful but with ABC fail, traction control fail, stability control fail. Let her idle for 10min, took around a block. Then turned the engine off and on, second start no error messages, runs like a champ. Needless to say I am pretty happy, hopefully no further issues. Thanks everyone for your assistance.

Many times you will get codes that are caused by a low voltage battery. This car is voltage sensitive.
