Engine strut braces

Just had a thought. Would fitting the convertible engine strut braces to a coupe
make any worthwhile or noticeable difference. They sell quite cheaply on ebay so would it worth the time and effort?

I don't think it would make much of a difference as the coupe's roof is stronger than the strut braces.
