help guys...i have a 01XK8...got a "performance restiction" and a check engine light over the weekend. looked up the code and got a P0174. erased the code and check engine light reset. drove the car and no problem. is this something i should be concerned about or does this just sometimes occur on these cars?

If it happened once, chances are it will come back soon again. It is a lean code on the B bank of the engine.

The most common cause for this is a loose or cracked intake hose between the MAFS (near the air filter) and the throttle body. It could be the main hose or one of the smaller ones connecting to it.

The MAFS itself is another likely cause.

It could also be a fuel system restriction, but this is problably less likely.
