A couple of weeks ago my ABS warning light came on and the LCD had error messages "Trac Control Not Available" and "ASC Not Available". Turned the engine off and back on, and all was fine. It's been driving fine until this morning the LCD told me "Restricted Performance" (so the engine would not rev about 3,000 RPM). Any ideas why I'm getting these errors?

 

Just a guess but possibly the car needs servicing. Typically restarted the car isn't the best solution to fixing a Jaguar

 

The traction control could be related to either a wheel speed sensor (dirty or failing) or a wiring harness similarly.

Restricted performance is not related to either, but suggest you have the codes read very soon to see what the computer is hinting toward.
