EVAP System: Questions
As I still have my P0445 code on my 2001/US-Model. Unfortunately this problem is not known here in Switzerland/Europe therefore I have to find the solution by myself and, my hopes, with you.
I checked the lines around the 2 canisters and found the small rubber-tube from the canister to the CCV leaking. it will be replaced.
When I follow the tube after the CCV it leads somewhere into the (passenger side) suspension-area. When blowing into the tube i can feel a Leak where it disappear into the suspension-area.
Is it correct that the removed CVV is in open position? (can blow through)
Can I check the opening/closing with electrical impulses on the two pins or will it be damaged?
Thanks - Daniel
