Does anyone know if the later style fob will sync to an earlier Xk8? I am going to get a new one as I just can't take the old ones anymore, even with silver on the back of the buttons they are intermitent.
There is the orignal style with square buttons then a later version with a better button layout which came with the 2000/2001 facelift. Has anyone tried setting one of these up for an earlier car? Obviously if they are a different freq or from a different manufacturer it probably will not work, but if they simply changed the buttons.... perhaps it will.
