Can someone please help me. I have a XKR 2000 that turns over but won't start.
I have the Failsafe engine mode displayed ... any ideas please?

I've deleted your duplicate of this question from General Tech Help. Please do NOT multiple post the same question.

The short answer is there's either no spark or no fuel delivery. The only way to find out specifically what is causing the problem is to put a code reader on it. Without that it's guesswork and a process of elimination which can soon prove expensive with a Jaguar.

As GGG says you need to plug in a diagnostics machine it will possibly lead you to the reason, but what other info do you have, History helps!
has it been laid up?
was it running yesterday?

 

I am having the same issue with my 2002 XJ VDP. It turns over but wont start and is in Engine Failsafe Mode. The code reader I have used before wont link up with the car, obd2 scanner not connecting to ecu.
