Default Failsafe mode

this am heading into work, the car went into failsafe - limp home mode as I came off the interstate - cruise control also deactivated. Was about 1/2 mile from work and speed limit was 30 - so continued on way. When I got to work, shut off the car and restarted - no failsafe mode. Checked JTIS and based on the loss of cruise - suspected a code related to a cruise control moduel issue. At lunchtime, drove to Advanced Auto and the only code showing was a 1111. I drove the entire way home this evening (left cruise off) with no further failsafe conditions. Perplexed but sticking with a fault within the cruise - any thoughts???

Apart from P0715 (Input speed sensor circuit malfunction), all limp home defaults cancel with the next ignition ON cycle provided the fault is no longer present.

With no codes other than the welcome sight of P1111, I'd try the cruise again and see if the fault replicates.
