Default Fitted Car Covers 2004 Convertible

I had the car ceramic coated last summer, and it's amazing. The car doesn't even want to be wet anymore - water just beads up and rolls off. Now that it is winter and the car is in heated storage for the winter, I need a Very Good cover - one that is soft on the inside, protects against dust and dings and is fitted to the car. I haven't seen anything in the threads for X100 models in the last 10 years or so, so there has to be better options out there now. Any recommendations?

I have the 5-ply outdoor breathable cover from Covercraft, and I've been happy with their covers for ten years now. "5-ply" sounds heavy, but it isn't. It's actually pretty light. Fits perfectly. I got the stowage bag, the extra hold-down cords, which just clip to the hem, and you use for high winds, and the locking cable, in case I ever have to leave the car covered in a public garage (we have hurricanes and I don't have a garage). The cover is quite manageable to put on and take off every time I use the car, and I use it on average about twice a week. I also bought a "California Car Duster" with it, from them, and I use that to gently dust the car off if it gets a little dust on it from the road, before I cover it, and to dust it off after a rain; some fine dust will settle on the car after a rain, as the cover is porous.

Here is a link to the cover.

You're most welcome. I think you'll be very happy with the rigfht custom-fit cover. They do a good job and give you peace of mind without being a pain.

Mine is for indoor use. I'm more worried about dust, potential door dings and brushing up against the car, so a heavier cover to prevent dings is good, as is a scratch free lining.

Yeah the scratch-free lining was a big one for me too. I've been quite happy with that. It's not a zero-micro-swirls situation--that's not realistic--but it's certainly good enough for me.

Default The best at great price

This is my 3th cover that I used outside during summer. I keep an old one for the storage season. Very soft lining inside. The Gold série was the best and now the have a supreme.
