Hey all,

I am looking to buy a new floor jack to get some work done on my garage!

There are a lot of options online and not sure which one would fit best for my Jaguar.

Which one would you recommend? I was looking at a list of best floor jacks an not sure which one would be best.

I've got a Pittsburgh 3ton ultra low profile - works great for my needs

 

I have used an Arcan XL35R 3.5 ton floor jack for a handful of years. It is heavy and you will want to keep it on the floor most of the time, but with the low profile it has, I haven't had a problem getting under lowered cars yet. It also has quick lifting action. I bought it at Costo for $100. They carry a different model Arcan now, so I don't know how it compares.

 

I have this Harbor Freight Unit. Relatively light and cheap. Works great. Get wheel chocks and jack stands.

The 3 ton Pittsburgh Automotive low profile with rapid pump is a good price at Harbor Freight right now, and if you use a 20% coupon, it's just a little over $75.

 

I have tried this one at the store, it is a really good jack and goes on sale sometimes. I don't think the 20% off works on jacks.
