For a nominal fee?

And does it replace the leaper, or do they move that up or down?

Leaper stays, probably another $10 or so for the pad, that's the going rate elsewhere. Not bad.

I might be odd, but I always take out my carpeted floor mats from every car I own. I can't stand them. I love the ability to take rubber floor mats out, scrub them down, rinse them off, put on some Black Again and have them look like new for years, even after working in industrial areas where my boots were filthy on a regular basis...but I can't find any for my XKR!

Does anyone know where to find OEM rubber floor mats? I bought a set of OEM ones for my X-Type that were really super...heavy rubber plus "leaper" and JAGUAR pressed into the rubber...they were swell! I used them in my S-Type as well (they weren't a 100% fit, but with some trimming, they did work well enough!) Unfortunately, no dealer that I've asked carries OEM rubber ones for a 2002 XKR anymore. I bought a set of heavy-duty rubber mats from from autoanything.com and they're okay, but I'd love to get the appropriate Jaguar ones for my car.

Ok, after getting tired of seeing this persistent stain on my driver mat, I just ordered a set of graphite plush mats, with the driver's heelpad and jag leaper/log. I'll take some pics and give you my impression when they arrive.

hey hey, that was quick, I was just informed my mats have shipped and will be here Friday. I'll set up a couple pics for you guys to see the heelpad matched with that beautiful jag leaper n log on the graphite color, plush style. I am hoping it matches up the charcoal color carpet of the car well. We shall see.

Two good things happened on this blistering hot Friday, first I get an apology letter from the IRS, then I see my new floor mats have arrived. TBH, I had a hard time choosing which to be more excited about.

Here are the new mats...the original one from the car is one of them...you see if you can tell which one

My initial impressions:
(1) the new mat has a thicker, softer plush
(2) the OEMs were much thicker overall, because it had a stiff 'back' to it, perhaps to keep it from moving/wrinkling. The new ones have those little rubber spikes to keep it in place.
(3) the color almost matches the OEM as you can tell. They (like the OEMs) are just a shade lighter than the car's carpets. You could go black on these, and probably be just fine also. The flash really makes them stand out, but as you can see in the first pic, they're really close in shade of grey
(4) the heel pad and logo are nice. Much nicer in person than in a picture
(5) sizes are almost identical a 1/4" here and there, slightly more of a radius at the corner, etc.

- Graphite mats with dark grey logo stiching (you can choose the color of the logo separately) paid about $85 shipped from AutoEtc ebay posting

Those look great, Matt. If my standard ones wear out, I'll go plush like that.

Nice mats, Matt. (I couldn't resist) I wish I knew about the heel pad when I got mine. Oh well, next time.

I wish my car were red, I'd go red stitching on the logo, that would look sweet. I opted for a conservative contrasting color for mine.

Thanks guys, glad I could show you another option with these mats from AutoEtc.

Default No more from Autoetc?

Looks like Autoetc is not listing jaguar mats in their ebay store anymore. Anyone order from them recently?

Matt, I took your advice and requested the red logos. My mats arrived today. They look great with one small problem ... they made the mats for an XJS, not my XKR. It was their mistake. I notified them of the mistake tonight. I'm hoping they come through and do the right thing and get me the right ones!

Here are some pics of the wrong ones ...

Steve, those should look pretty slick…once you get the right ones that is. Hopefully they step up and correct it at no charge.

I must say, those are very nice looking... definitely post a pic of them in the car when the right ones arrive. Unfortunately, I don't think any XJ8 owners will want the bright red on the logo if they don't have that salsa red paint job, so they may tell you to just keep them if they don't want them shipped back on their dime. If that's the case, we'll raffle them off to an XJ8 member

I don't know about not wanting them without red paint. I know the logos on the XKRs are red rather than the green ones us XK8 owners have. If my car were an R I would consider red trim over the green just to be consistent. While I'm not up on the logos the XJ8/XJRs have it may be similar there.

Their R badges aren't as flashy as an s-type or xk of the same year...but I suppose it would look ok with the right color combo.

I'm happy to report that AutoEtc is doing the right thing! They are sending my new mats to me today or tomorrow. They are also paying for the return shipping on the wrong mats, so all is good! I'll post some pics of the new ones once they've found their new home. :-)
