Default Fluid loss when changing water pump?

I'm going to change the water pump, thermostat, and thermostat housing. But, I don't want to drain all the fluid. Anyone know about how much fluid I'll lose changing those items?

Thermostat and housing isn't so bad, and you can jack up the front of the car to make that the highest point which helps as well.

The water pump, on the other hand, you will lost a good bit, probably half or more. And it will make an awful mess if you don't drain it first.

Yup. I think I'll do a partial drain. Just received my all metal thermostat housing and new thermostat from CoventryWest:

Any particular gasket sealer needed?

The fun part is the one bolt under the intake. I used an 8mm crowfoot and even then you could barely turn it a 1/4 turn at a time. In fact that one bolt took longer than replacing the radiator hoses and the water pump. I totally drained it and ran the garden hose through the radiator and top hose until it was coming out totally clear and then some.

That bolt holding the Tstat housing on, I assume is the same as my 03, it is a bit easier to get to if you remove the metal plate on the front of the black intake plenum, it gives you that little extra to get to that bolt. Word to the wise BE CAREFUL with those bolts so they don't get away from you and go under the intake.
That plate you remove is easy to get off and I just reused the green rubber like gasket. Not sure what they plate is needed for!!?!?!?!?
