Default Fog Light Replacement

Hi All,

Does anyone have information about how to change the fog light on a 2000 XKR? Just the lens is broken but I'm assuming that it will entail replacing the whole assembly. Thanks in advance!

Today I do not know if you can acquire the lens separate from the entire unit. I had to replace mine for the same reason. It is a little hard to get to. You will go in from the wheel well and in my case remove the tire.

To give you more room to work in you can remove the wheel and the inner wheel liner or at least the front 1/2 of it and move it out of the way. It's made out of thin material/plastic. Then you can get both hands/arms in there to do the work.

I did this when I upgraded my low beams (dip beams) to HID bulbs. Made life a lot easier.

Hi, thanks for the advice. GreenJewel--how did you like the HID upgrade? How much was the total cost and would you do it again? Thanks!

They are great! I can finally see when the road is wet and cars are coming the other way. I purchased from hidextra-dot-com. We have H1 bulbs in our low beams. Look at their prices then give them a voice call and tell them you saw their site here and you'll save some bucks!

Other than having to drill a 1" hole into the cap, everything is plug and play and seals up just fine. Remind the person on the phone that you'll need the condenser harness so you don't get flicker.
