It's the least I could do after this folks in this forum have helped me out so much throughout the years.

I will let you all know via this thread when he is ready to print. I will accept payment via paypal. After that, we'll work out shipping on an individual basis; I am willing to ship these out worldwide.

I am interested in getting two, please. I know he has been working on the design - does he have a planned date for the printing yet?

Great, I’ll put you in the wait list.

He had given me an estimate of 3 to 4 weeks. Last I spoke to him he was soon to print a prototype to test fit and finish and test it for durability.

Is there still time to jump in on this?

If this works out for everyone, I can see a third tail light housing should be considered

Great, I've put you down for a pair.

So far, I've got 9 pairs in the books.

Yes, you are on the list. Here is the list thus far:
  1. Shoreguy: 1 pair
  2. Chirpy: 1 pair
  3. Ledmi: 1 pair
  4. Schrodinger’s Cat: 1 pair
  5. Gian: 1 pair
  6. NWXKR: 1 pair
  7. mcusick: 1pair
  8. Grieby: 1 pair
  9. KCXK8: 1 pair
I will inform you guys when he is ready to print so that you can remit payment to me via paypal and I can tell him what the batch size will be. Another idea I have been toying with is to have him print a batch of 26, of which I sell to you the ones you've pre-ordered, and then I sell the other 8 via ebay or something. I don't know if there is enough demand for these in which I could sell them via ebay and not lose money.

You could totally sell those extras on Ebay or FB marketplace. They are so hard to find.

By the way, are the latch covers in the back seats the same as the front seats?

Default Because I am unsecure

I was thinking about those and installation, manipulation and the possibility of cracking one of them. Because the left and right are identical (I believe) I would like to place on my order a 3rd one for back up. I think it would be wise for all of us to keep one back-up. They are so hard to find, imagine braking one next spring !!!!
it might lower the price at the same time.

Yesterday, I removed my interior seats and the panels next to them to fix my rear seatbelts, which were both stuck in the fully retracted position. I took a look at the rear seatbelt buckles, and on the outside, the covers seem to be identical to the fronts (don't know about the internal structure. However, they are both held together via a metal bracket that I didn't see any obvious method of removing. They also don't have the connection to the seat occupancy sensory that the front buckles do. If you try to separate the covers at the seam, they will crack and shatter with ease, leaving you in a position where you now also need to replace the rear ones. Thus, I don't think repurposing one of those rear buckles to the front seats is feasible.

I didn't take a picture, but here's one I found on google of what that assembly looks like.

Now, is it possible that the buckle covers I am having made for us could fit the rears? Mayhaps, but I am not breaking my intact pair to find out.

Thanks. I am glad I didn't try to split mine to make this happen.

Hi, I'd like to give an update!

Here are images of the CAD models of the belt buckle cover. He said he will be ready to begin printing soon.

Yes there is a part number stamped on it and no it doesn't match the ones in the front.

The front buckle part number is HGE7017AG___ and the last three letters designate the color code. The rear buckles are HJE7090AC___, again the last three letters are for the color code: LEG is Warm Charcoal and AEK is Sable.
