I must say SNG Barratt is a great company to deal with.
Used them many times when I had my 68 E-type.
Tony was the man, although everyone I dealt with was top notch.

I requested this excellent catalog and by the time I got down stairs from my office it (seemingly) had arrived. Talk about responding to customers requests quickly! Believe me, this is a must have publication for any XK8 owner.
Thanks!
RB

Just got mine in the mail!

It's awesome, it's beautiful, and very informative. I'm taking a look at it as I type this.

I have noticed that the language is very british. What I call the shock absorber is the "damper" and what I call the shock mount is the "upper spring mounting".

It's got both a table of contents and an A-Z index, which means there are two methods of looking up parts on the book. The book is divided into sections such as "road springs & dampers" and "timing chains and adjusters" which contain numbered parts diagrams for the related parts on the left page and the list of parts with numbers and diagram numbering on the right page. It is quite comprehensive.

Received mine in the mail over the weekend and quickly scanned through it. The catalog is very thorough with lots of illustrations and part numbers for even obscure small parts like various screws and footings.

Thanks!

Doug

Just got mine today. Really nice catalog and the parts explosions make it easy to see what you need.

Like a Victoria's Secret catalog for the Jag lover.

Didn't see a pricing page though. Guess you have to call or go online for that.

Received my copy yesterday. As others have said, very detailed, illustrative, and comprehensive. A great resource to have regardless of where you wind up sourcing your needed parts. I assume the prices fluctuate and that is why they are not published....

Wow! What a great reference book!

With the exploded drawings it adds a whole new level of understanding to the usually excellent R&R information presented on the forum . . . and with the parts numbers right there!

I highly recommend SNG Barratt. I ordered a few hoses, one of which was a "special order" and they arrived in one week. Right parts, shipped quickly, excellent price, can't do better than that.
