Default Front coil springs on 2000 xkr

I recently bought a 2000 xkr convertible, where the front of the car was way to low. After some research I found out that the coil spring parts no for this car was JLM20706 and ordered a set with new top mounting as well.
I have now changed this on one side of the car and when I compared the new spring against the old one, I could see that the new ones has half a turn more on the coil. The new has 9,5 turns against the old one has 9.
I am wondering if my new springs are correct for this car; 2000 xkr convertible with automatic adjustable suspension.
The new springs are labeled MJB2158GD. Is this a sort of new part no?
Do any of you have a pair of springs laying around that you could check if there are 9 or 9.5 turn on the coil?

Don't have a XKR but seeing how old the car is, what are the odds a previous owner put in lowering springs?
What is the height from the center of the wheel to the top to the curve in the fender on the new one?
Should be 15.5 inches on most cars with correct springs and new top mounts.
Set a new one next to a old one and see what it looks like. You never know what a owner will do in 20 years.

Well sure it could be that the springs has been changed in the past. But the car went from way to low, to way to high.
I have just put in the second one, and hadnt time to testdrive before work, but it stands 30 mm to high just off the jack. It was 40 mm to low with the old one!
So yes it looked stupid right now.
I want it to be the original 400mm standing height - that is 15 3/4 inch isnt it? Now its nearly 17 inches!

Mjb2158gd seems to be a jaguar part number but l cannot find a reference as to which model it fits. None of my X100 parts books use that prefix for springs.
have you tried contacting the vendor as to which car they are for.

NorXKR,
My front springs are stock 2003 XKR and appear to be 9 turns. See image.
Don't know if spring spec changed between our model years...
