Hey guys!
Yep, it was the sway arm bushings. I had to bring in the car for an inspection and asked the shop to check out all the front end bushings and shock mounts. Ordered up the parts (along with 2 new steering rack bushings) and changed them all out in the driveway and she's been running smooth and clunk-free ever since

Everything will feel tight even when the bushings are pancaked.

Just measure the ride height from front wheel centers to fender arch. I bet you are at less than 15 inches. If so then bingo!
Hey Rothwell

That is what i originally thought also but the measurement ended up being 15.75 inches

Glad it ended up being cheap and easy to fix.

I am impressed the upper mounts are still at spec. Wonder who made them?

Not sure but the shop that I use in Virginia Beach (Abacus Racing) is a high end shop for exotic cars and have always used original Jaguar parts on my vehicle. The dealership is 2-3 miles from the shop. The work was done by the previous owner just before I bought it. Service records say Bilstein Shocks and OEM mounts.

I have the same problem. I'm currently working on the Audi right now, but soon I want to get to the XKR for sway bar links and bushings.
