Ordered the Arden style kit from Mina Gallery and I'm struggling to decide which grille to use. Black or stainless. I also have the adamesh large plinth grille badge and playing with its locations as well.
I painted the back ground on the new growler red to match y wheel and side badges as well looks amazing in red!!
If I leave the badge in the original badge location, it will take a bit of modification to lay flat. Isn't has a slight curve to match the grille.
When I have the front kit installed, I'll have the badge holes filled and then decide so there won't be holes.

Also, Chris at mina gallery sent me several grilles to try. I have the flat inset and the convex style, both in black and stainless. I'll have to wait to remove the aluminum over riders once the nose is removed. Then try the flat grilles.
If I go with the black and the badge on he grille, I'm painting the chrome plinth black as well to look integral to the mesh just as with my xfr black grille I installed.
My delima is that since I blacked out my XF of all chrome except badging, do I want to do the same to my XK8. I really don't want to replace the wheels or refinish since they're not in the best chrome shape, not bad but too much to repair and paint.
