The front lower strut bushings also degrade like the rear ones do and can lead to declining ride quality. You can check them directly for wear by removing the front wheels. As such, the lower bushings are rather easy to get to and can be replaced on the car or you can remove the whole strut/spring assembly and replace the bushings in the shop. Be careful if you have CATS suspension as the struts can be damaged, $$$, if subjected to a sharp hit.

When doing this on the car, how can the bushing be pressed out and the new one back in? Can a tool similar (or the same) as the one needed for the rear be used?

It looks like you can unbolt the shock and then lower the control arm a bit to gain access to the bush but not so far as to bind on the ball joint and damage it.

Thanks all.
