Default Front Main Seal Leak, how common?

Congrats to all y'all with Bin Laden's extermination and Obama's re-election! However it did not fix that oil leak, I am having from under the engine front.
It seems that every morning I see about 2" in diameter oil drip on the garage floor, plus front motor cover has oil around the main seal, leaking down onto subframe and such.

How common are the front seal leaks and is there something else to look for, perhaps?

Dunno, but hope you get it remedied. Not everyone is an obama fanboy and politics should probably not be discussed... just saying.

Thumbs up

Thankfully, there are sufficient Obama fans to make the non-fans distinctly unhappy.

Yeah, isn't that crazy? You'd think that the progressives would hate how Obama has pretty much just carried on with GWB's incompetent status quo.

I've got the same small oil leak. I have receipts from the last owner
for seal replacement of; crankshaft front seal, timing cover gaskets inner & outer, spark plug seals, center cam cover seal, cam cover gasket left and
right, cam cover bolt seal, front engine seal, pan gasket seal and with all that money he spent it still has the same small leak as yours. The oil leak amount is so small I don't even add oil between 5k mile oil changes. So, I
just live with it.

Regards,

How do you identify front main seal leak? i think i have one as there is small amounts of oil with no obvious source all over the front of the engine from the oil cooler hoses up to the top fully area.

get a mirror and look to see if you have oil below the crank pulley but not above.
