Default Front shock lower bushings

Is ok possible to replace the lower front shocks without removing the whole assembly from the car? I would like to hear your experience.

And how exactly do you plan on doing this? You're already 50% of the way done once you have removed the lower shock bolt. You're also most likely to have disconnected the sway bar. At this point, the three top screws to remove the shock are a no brainer. And any worthwhile press or c-clamp tool will be infinitely more comfortable to work with on the bench.

I don't see the point in keeping the shock in the car when it's so easy to remove.

I did the rears and all the right tools, painful, but the fronts, even though do able, like above, take them out of the car.

I'm starting to see a trend in the responses... Thank you for your response.

on the 308 you can do the rear lower shock bushings if you have the rear on ramps and put about 4-500+ pounds of stuff in the trunk, maybe the 100 is the same.

fronts are easy though, might as well get new shock mounts while you’re at it
