Front Shock/Pivot bolt torques
My young lad just took off for a week with my garage laptop, complete with the JTIS manual for my '07 XK8 in the disc drive.
Could someone please look up the factory recommended torque values for the following:
- Upper shock mounting bolts
- Upper A-arm pivot bolt
- Lower shock mounting bolt
Thanks in advance
Cheers

I don't have it right in front of me, but if you are using a 3/8 drive ratchet or normal 12" handle you can pull it as tight as you can feel. Even a 1/2" drive with a 12" or so handle won't be too much torque. Those are hard steel and should be good 60 (?) lbs. If any of those nuts are the self-locking type, though, they must be torqued to the full (correct) torque the first time because they allegedfly cannot be accurately re-torqued further. I can't remember if any of those are self-locking. And, I cannot find the correct figures in all the crap I have for maintaining this car.
