Default Front Suspension

My recently purchased 2000 XK8 has a low front suspension. I have read that this is a common problem. Before changing the springs has anyone used spacers ? Do they work ?

You probably do not need to replace the springs, but more likely need to replace the upper shock mounts... they deteriorate over time and definitely need to be replaced. I would recommend the mounts from Welsh Enterprises HERE - they are much sturdier and robust than the OEM mounts and should last much longer.

To answer your other question: I've read several posts about adding spacers. It is just a temp fix.

I agree with Blindside.

FWIW I replaced front springs, it raised height but I saw a bigger difference with the shock mounts. I advise you to stick with the Welsh link. Other brands can be problematic .
