Fuel Pump Brand Recommendation Needed

Fuel Pump Brand Recommendation Needed
First, I appreciate all who contribute to this forum to help us happy cat owners stay happy, sane and out of serious debt. I've been fortunate not to have any problems (3+ years ! - is that a new record ?) until now - new it was inevitable though.
I'm sure I'm going to have to replace the fuel pump in my '02 XK8 coupe (going to try to access via subwoofer hole and will be replacing fuel filter as well as checking wiring at the pump for possible burning), but the problem at the moment is finding a good and reliable replacement.
From all my online research, Airtex seem to have bad reputation, Bosch doesn't even make one (as per call today to US center), Walbro's site, who supposedly makes the JAG part, only lists one for a '97 & '98. I did find a Spectra Premium Industries Inc SP1113 that fits (confirmed via a call to them) but don't know anything about their quality and reliability.
As I'm sure anyone who's had to deal with fuel pump replacement knows it's a pita job and I don't want to have to do this again, preferably ever or at least not for another decade. So, any brand recommendations from those (esp actual mechanics) who've done this and have had some time pass with no problems ?
