Pumps at the Jaguar parts counter are about $300 each. Well known brands are under a hundred. Rock Auto will sell you a Delphi pump for under $50. Delphi is a US based former GM subsidiary with a good reputation.

For convenience I chose Auto Zone Delphi for about $90 but ordered on line shipped to home would have been about $70. That is with a life time warranty which I hope I never have to claim.

Hope you have done some research on the replacement as it it is not for the faint of heart.

Just finished mine and it cranked right up . . . no drips. Celebrating with some peat flavored beverage.

I too replaced my pumps with Delphi's, cranked up immediately upon completion. I'll have to admit though, I cheated a slight bit, had the rear suspension out of the car for refurb, lowering springs, and Powerflex bushes, made access to the fuel lines quite easy!

HD that's an awesome job! My rear end looks like it's been on the bottom of the ocean for a decade.

Thanks johns427, my refurb project was made fairly easy, as my XKR spent many years of it's life in Florida, it was picked up at auction by a Dealer here in Ga., from which I. purchased it, therefore, no rust, little to no corrosion, some cleaning and sanding, a little paint and powdercoat, and voila!, I probably went somewhat over the top, but wth, I enjoyed the project.

Cheers,
BK

, Time to disassemble and clean, all looks very good, relatively clean underneath as this had been a Florida car.

No Scott, I don't, probably would'nt be a bad idea though, as I did not mean to hijack this thread! I think I've got some picks of it in my photo albums though.

Cheers,
BK
