Does your VIN come in these ranges (see item 2):

they usually ask for the last 6 digets of the vin. here they are A14208
part is the fuel sender..... thanks again tony

I'd just been reading a thread on fuel pumps and missed the all important word 'sender' in your post.
Here's the Parts Catalogue extract (see item 9):

For the 2001MY and your VIN range, it's the same P/N LJE2001AA for both Normally Aspirated and Supercharged with or without ORVR.

thanks again will order it as soon as i get the nerve to tear either my tank out or drill a hole down into it and try to go through the top lol tony (only a weekend mechanic)
