Default Fuse Chart 2002 XK8/R FAQ

After answering a question on fuse location I realized that we have not posted a fuse chart on our FAQ Sticky.

Here is the one for my 2002 XK8. Other years may be slightly different but generally these should apply to all years through 2002 and perhaps beyond. I suspect that they may also largely apply to the XJ8/R series.

Hey tom, if you want to pdf all pages for the various years, we can put them all here in this thread for reference. If you need help, I can also help pull the pdfs from the JTIS apart.

I'll take a look later today but I think this is about 99% correct for all years.

That is correct Mad, unfortunately. New users need a specified time of membership, plus a minimum post count before privileges are granted.

If you drop your email here, Testpoint could email it to you. Or, you could wait. The qualifying period is not long, but you will need to drop a few more posts...i'd say between 3-5. If you haven't been to the New Member area, please drop by and introduce yourself, or respond to some other threads. You'll be there in no-time.

Don't you see the irony...my old jeep trying to be a jag with a rat leaper? I thought it was clever at the time.

Don't forget jagbot, you'll need 3 days under your belt also for full access.

Go here for your pdf, sounds like you need it in a pinch, and introduce yourself in the new member area when you return with working electronics

What on earth are "Stoneworker Lights" Listed in the Fuse No. 21 in the Luggage Compartment Fuse Box? in the Fuse Chart you uploaded? Does anyone know?

ALSO Does anyone know where can I find the fuse for the Boot / Trunk lights (Internal)

Default Lighter not working. Lighter illumator is. Fuse o.k.

I have taken the whole thing apart. 20 amp fuse at #14 in the Passenger fascia panel is fine.
Is there an in-line fuse or relay in the circuit?

DornB,

Your going to have to tell us what your problem is and you would be better served starting a new thread of your own.

Yes, the relay in the fusebox on the passenger side of the dash switches the cigarette lighter.

Have you checked whether the connector directly behind the cig. lighter outlet under the console is plugged in?

I thought I would add the relay locations (2001) to this faq, so we have the fuses and relays in one place:-
