Thumbs up FYI - coil connector for 2 pin coils

I already put this in the non-OEM sticky, but the Duralast 1160 parking aid sensor connector is the same plastic connector/housing as the ignition coil connectors for early cars with the 2 pin coils. I noticed this morning that my connector on cylinder 8 was sitting weird. I took it off, and discovered the connector had basically split it two and was completely unsalvageable. I picked the duralast part up from auto zone same day, slid the terminals in, and it was good to go.

There's a white plastic septum that separates the two terminals. You need to put this in, but because of the wings/ears on it, it may not be a great fit. You can trim them off with wire cutters pretty easily, and then it becomes a perfect fit (and actually feels a bit better and more secure than the OEM ones). Not a bad tradeoff for not having to cut/connect any wires.

Here's the link: https://www.autozone.com/electrical-...=&model=&year=

There are also some options on rock auto and parts geek that are cheaper. But I'm not sure what the deal with those is. In any case, this is pretty convenient as it's available in store at many places (at least out here).

Very true. I had actually ordered those to begin with, but then cancelled when I found this. It's probably the most expensive option, but due to some other circumstances, I couldn't really wait two days.

I remember see a thread from a few years ago where someone was struggling to find these. Glad they've popped up a bit more abundantly.
