Default metal thermostat housing

Bought the kit from them last summer. Becareful, supplied thermostat was the wrong one. Engine very slow to warm up (thermostat opens too early) and never reaches normal operating temps unless stuck in traffic. OEM thermo stays closed until temp reached then opens.

I installed their housing this summer and no problems. The casting is a little rough, but for the price it fit and worked fine. I installed a thermostat and waterpump from Eurotoys and have had no temp issues. I think one member had a gasket leak with the Al housing from RockAuto. (DaddyO?)
If anyone needs the bent wrench for the rear bolts, I have one thanks to test point.
