seems like theres always something...... forum, my gas gage keeps jumping up and down, sometimes i'll have a 1/2 tank and it will just drop down to "E" and stay there, sometimes it pops back and sometimes i have to shut down the car and restart it to go back..... when this happens the gas light comes on and i'm worried the computer will tell the car i'm empty and in return stall out even when i have gas ???????????? what do ya think ???? tony

 

You need to replace your Sending Unit at the Fuel Tank.

 

Is your sending unit mounted on the tank or inside? If it is outside this link will help you. I am unable to recall when it changed.
