Default gas smell

We have had our XKR now for about a month and it feels like riding on a cloud. We took it to the Jaguar dealer for the 60000mile service. They checked everything and said it was one of the nicest XKR they have seen. We did put several days of claybarring, waxing and several other finishes on it so its a smooth as it could possibly get.

Now the problem. Since we picked it up from the dealer the car has a very strong gasoline smell in the cabin. It starts soon after we leave the house (top open so not too bad), gets a lot worse at every stop light and once we get home I feel the garage is going to explode the smell is so bad. Called the dealer and they said it could be cleaning aent from cleaning the fuel injection but shouldn't that be burned off after about 100 miles?
We checked the engine bay and under the wheel wells but cannot find a source?
Any help would be appreciated!

It is most likely a malfunctioning purge valve, about a $90 part as I recollect. Mine did the same thing and I purchased a new valve, but before I could install it, mine started working again, and I haven't had the problem in about a year. Make sure you don't have leaking fuel rails, but if you need a purge valve, let me know, and I can send you mine. It is still in sealed box.

Is there only one purge valve? Where would I find it?

It will be #4 in the pic, behind drivers side wheel, under wheel liner. It you keep your tank over 1/2 you usually won't smell fuel if these are bad. A temporary solution. It does depend on MY on what part # you will need.
