When removing the gas tank do you need to remove all the gas? Or does the two gas lines when disconnected with the quick relace close stopping gas from draining out?

 

The tank hoses are about 1 inch from the bottom, so removing with any tilt on the top towards the front will give you some gas in the trunk (boot)
You can get most out with a 44 inch 1/4 inch hose that has all the curve taken out of it.
I would still keep any tilt away from the holes at the bottom.

If you are removing it to change the fuel pump you dont need to...remove parcel shelf/ speaker grill then cut the bit in front of the speakerleft and right towards the front and open like a sardine tin ..EPLS
