Hi all wot to do
While changing bulbs in center console noticed that sport mode switch had been disconnected? The switch is in poor condition not working. Question do I buy new switch and connect,could it do damage? Also I have no illumination on J gate only red light on gear leaver position is there I bulb to change or a new part to buy?

Please help.

 

I you find the correct switch then it shouldn't do any damage and the S mode for the car just changes some parameters in the transmission software, but doesn't pose any risk to the mechanical parts.
