Got a dog & convertible = heads up
All's ok, I just learned something to share.
Today I neglected to buckle my Irish setter in my mind was elsewhere. After she got in her spot in back seat like a good girl, I started car. Proceeded to put all windows down then pushed roof button. For some reason I looked over my shoulder to the left - woah!!! She was standing sideways looking out driver side. Her tail was straight out, overlapping roof structure as it folded. Roof was just about closed, her tail was about to get caught in the scissoring metal frame!
I don't know why I never caught this or thought of this before, maybe she's already buckled in by then and tail doesn't reach. Since it could have gone from scary to disaster so fast, it really hit me. Yeah its obvious, but I always figure if it helps only 1 person = worth it.
