Default Convertible roof lining catching ( C pilar ) when closing

HI , was wondering if anyone can help with this problem, my roof lining often catches when the roof is raised, it happens on both sides though one more often than the other, I am at a loss as to what is wrong

Car is a MY10 5.0 XKR

Below is a picture of what it does, thanks in advance

This same exact thing happened to me once on the same side (passenger)and I was mystified as I'd only had the car a week. So I simply pulled out the liner and stretched it by hand around the mechanism. I did nothing special really but it hasn't happened again in months. (knock on wood)

If it persists you may want to see a dealer about it.

I had the same problem on my 08. Check and see if there is anything on the backside (facing the frame) of the liner that catches on the frame. If so, you may be able to snip it off. That is what I ended up doing with a tag in the seam just away from the folded edge of the liner.
