My '99 convertible has a strange problem. The left rear lights work fine until I slow down, using the brake and turn on the left turn signal. That causes the blinker to speed up and a "bulb failure" warning light to come on. If I use the turn signal alone it is fine and the same for the brake lights. It is only when both are used as the same time.
Any ideas! Thanks!

 

<p>&nbsp;</p><p>check the connector going to the housing - the ground (black) lead may have fried.&nbsp; The easy fix is to install an extra ground lead - several threads on this issue</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
