Should not be an issue if you have stock wheels and all model years are the same.

If you're worried, there are other options that lower the car a bit less:
Mina Gallery is 1.2
Adamesh is 1.0

I have a full set of Adamesh springs on my XKR. Improved the look but didn't hurt the ride or cause any other problems.

I put them on my XK8 and they worked out perfectly... I have 20" wheels and have no problems. You also will need to change out the spacer between the rear axle(s) and the wheel(s) to adjust the rear camber because the lowering of the car brings the top of the wheels inward. And now that I looked at my signature pic I may need to replace it to show the car lowered...

Charlie, Chris,

Just wondering how does it change the handling? Drive feel?

Thanks, John

As Chris said - make sure to change out the spacer - need the 7.5mm spacer - part number CBC480675 . I'm running with front & rear lowered - Mina front & H&R on rear but with 18's.

I feel more planted in the car now... and it definitely corners better. My car is a little bit of a rough rider but that is probably more due to the 20" low profile tires...

I think the wheel choice and suspension bushings have more affect on the ride than the springs.

I have 20" wheels and polyurethane everything and while I wouldn't say that the ride is harsh is it definitely less isolated from the road than it would be on 18" wheels and OEM rubber bits.

Are there any other options besides adamesh, mina gallery, and H&R?

Jaguar doesn't make my oem springs anymore (which were 10mm lower than the stock XKR of the time).

JaguarXKR - try DCR Autoparts - they offer both standard and lowering springs - link below

Just to clear up my confusion, I'm looking to buy the Mina Gallery springs, a friend of mine has a new set he offered to me for $200. I keep seeing people mention shims, will this be taken care of if I get a proper alignment or do I need some special Jaguar parts?

Jacob

No - most alignment places will say the rear cannot be aligned. You will need to either do the shims yourself or have an indie install them, then have alignment checked
