Having start up problems, looking for some advice
Well i got the two pumps out easily enough, i was suprised that it was reasonably painless. Luckily i have small hands too.
I assume that if i run 12 volts across the pumps terminals then they should do something, correct?
also, does someone know how to open the trunk when the battery is out of it? my neighbour closed it on me before i could tell him. Im hoping this is an easy open.
Again, thanks for that link for doing it through the speaker, that was awesome.

There is a hidden keyhole for the trunk between the 'X' and the 'K' on the trunk 'XKR' badge.
i found how to open the trunk :-), thats sneaky with the logo
I put 12V directly to the pumps and all i got was silence, i have zero resistance through the wires on the black box thingy, so i am hoping that solves the problem. I cant thank everyone enough for the tips and advice, this forum is really amazing, just as i was told it was.
I will order some new pumps and let you all know if i was successful.
thanks again and talk soon

hi all,
i got the pumps today, got them in without too muc issue really, which was nice, cranked it and it fired up no issues.
the only thing i have left now is the restricted performance and the engine light wich both came on when i was troubleshooting the relays.
will they go off in time, or is there something else i need to reset for that?
i wanted to say thanks to everyone once again for their help, it was all spot on.

Give it a few days of use to go off. If it does not, you will need to reset it with a inexpensive OBDII code reader.
It will be a very valuable tool on a 13 year old car, so it is well worth the investment if you need it.
