Default Headlamp Access Window Not Sealed

I had some light condensation in my headlights, so I bought large silica packs to place behind each one and draw out the moisture. Seems to be the quickest fix as per the forum.

Upon removing both access windows, I managed to break a few of the plastic female clips to put everything back together snugly.

Now both access windows are on, but they are certainly not connected tightly.

My question is, should I go out of my way to try to secure them better and make sure they are water tight, or did I just help myself by providing a sort of unintentional vent?

Im sure I could cinch it up with zip ties, but my large gut tells me I’ll be just fine.

I would leave them alone as long as you are sure they will not bounce out of position....

I put a small block of wood between the cover and the body and it worked fine.
