John from "To the Garage"
I'm sure lots of us have watched his YouTube videos and found them helpful. I just watched one on the convertible top. Guessing he is a forum member but never seen himself or anyone else identify his username. Maybe he is incognito to prevent a 100 PMs a day. If you know his username but he wants to stay in the shadows, don't rat him out.

It'd be nice to know he's on here just to thank him...
I follow XK8/XKR auctions on Bring A Trailer. I suggest to noobs that they go out to his series and find out about Jaguars. That's what I did. They are incredibly well engineered cars, and John has done some great videos.
Thanks John.
Thanks John.
Sometimes a bit long-winded at times (I'm a "to-the-point" guy when watching how-to videos) but certainly invaluable. Watched his vids on suspension and exhaust numerous times to prep for doing mine.
He is very informative and entertaining.
And is not afraid of posting a video where he has a mishap. No hubris there, and nice to see.
I recall the one where he left the hood (bonnet ?) up when he was lifting the car. There was a crunch when it hit the ceiling. Ouch !
