Headlamp bulbs
High beam:
Low beam:
i bought these because another X-100 owner had tried them and was satisfied with his purchase. Subsequently I discovered that the. manufacturer of these bulbs sells several different intensities of the same bulb. Of course they cost more but I think it might be worth an extra $30 per pair to have 20% more light . Not trying to take anything away from the products I bought, as they are a substantial improvement over the stock H-1 and H-3b bulbs. But once you get used to having better headlights, there's a tendency to want even more.
I should add that eve though the LED light was much brighter, I did need to raise the headlight unit to get the illuminated distance to my satisfaction ( no, my ride height is not the issue , I'm within specs.)
the low beam LED bulb is a very tight fit to get the stock securing clip over it and in its groove. But doable. Someone recently posted a method of installing the LED bulb which is supposed to be a lot easier, but I've lost track of the post, darn it !

I didn’t pull my wheels. The high beam goes in via the hood access. For the low beam, just turn the front wheels all the way to the left or right for relatively easy access.
