I have a couple of questions about the headlamps on my 1997 xk8. First, how do you adjust the headlamps. They seem to be one higher than the other. Second, how do you remove the headlamp assembly from the vehicle. I want to clean out the inside of the left headlamp as is it fogged......Thanks guys

 

The driver's side should be lower that the passenger side. If you shine them on your garage door you will see a stair step pattern made by the top of the cut off which is quite distint and this is normal

sometimes though the drivers side is low and you will see instead of three steps like in my crap illustration above you will see 4 with the fourth being in the middle section.

If drivers side there is a plastic finger that sticks out the back of the hieadlamp housing in the engine bay and a little adjustment acorn style nut the will adjust the lamp up and down.

As for condensation, just scroll down this page and you will find a thread titled Headlamp fix (condensation) which appears to be excellent. I'm going to try it also.
