I own a 2001 XK8 and I call her Candice. Lately, the driver’s seat headrest is randomly lowering and raising while the driver is seated or entering/exiting the car. The random motion seems to be related to the pressure exerted by the driver’s weight on the lower seat cushion. The headrest also has been observed cycling down and back to the previous position if the car is in a tight turn and some G-force is experienced by the driver (i.e., more pressure exerted on the seat). I have inspected the backrest tilt microswitch through the tilt knob opening, however nothing appeared loose or a possible cause. The symptoms appear related to the tilt microswitch, but before I start removing the leather cover, I wanted to ask for any similar experiences and remedies. Thanks. Little Dewey
