Hello everyone, I think I am the most recent victim of a door locking issue. My issue seems to be a little different however. I cannot lock the door with the key or the remote. I noticed that my door handle is loose and moves around when I put the key in and turn it. When I put the key in and turn to the right normally that would cause the top to go back, but that is not even working now. I do here some type of mechanism attempting to move when I put the key in and turn it in both directions. So now I cannot lock the door, the car is saying that the door is open. My right side window switch is not working either. I actually just ordered one from a salvage yard.

Is there anyway to tighted the handle? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I just tightened mine a couple of weeks ago. Put the window up and remove the door card. Do a search here for door card removal instructions.

No, but it might have been 10 mm socket.
