Help ! fail safe-transmission error - 1121
What do I check for ?
She ran great..now twice I've gotten limp mode with transmission fault, red & amber lights, and now have 1121 code. First time it reset and ran fine for another 100 miles. Now, after overnight cool down it starts, still in safe mode with transmission fault, but no 1121 code reappeared after clearing.
How do I diagnosis this ? I did not see it in the DIY troubleshooting guides.
The car is seldom driven, only 75000 miles on this 02.

The dreaded TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) fault.
Check the harness connectors to the Throttle Body and you may be lucky that it's only a loose or dirty connector.
However, it's showing the usual symptoms of impending TPS failure. P1121 which can be cleared but returns after a few miles and before long fails altogether.
