Default Here's a new one--case for owner's manuals?

The original green leather(?) case for the owner's manuals is falling apart. I assume other owners have experienced this a well. Is there some decent looking replacement that does not cost an arm and a leg?

How much is too much to pay? Used cases are abundant on ebay for $20-$40.

Doug,

In the olden days (1960's and 70's) Jaguars used to fall apart but the case for the owner's manuals was indestructible.

Now the cars last longer than the case. I know which I prefer.

If you are having trouble finding a replacement in the US, try ebay UK using 'Jaguar Handbook Wallet' as the search.

A small, lightweight item so it would be low postage cost to US.

That is about the right price range I am interested in but I have browsed ebay a number of times and have never found anything useful for just a pouch without manuals. Maybe the problem is that I try limiting my searches to "XK8 wallet/pouch" etc. and it could be that the pouch for other models would work as well?

Plan B would be some similar wallet/pouch that is not necessarily Jaguar but still be a decent look and quality.

Seismic Guy:

I took about 30 seconds to follow Graham's suggestion and came up with this:

GENUINE JAGUAR STRATSTONE HANDBOOK OWNERS MANUAL WALLET * XF XJ XK X S F TYPE XE | eBay

That might be a good place to sttart.

Good luck.

Andy--I did find that one in about 30 seconds but it did not seem the right shape/size to hold the manuals for my XKR, but I could be wrong.

Doug:

That's too bad since it looks like quite a nice design with the emblem down below. They claim to fit all models and your year, but maybe not all models for all those years. And buying overseas is always more complicated if you have to return things for any reason.
