The xkec over here in blighty is having its annual event on the 21st of May.
Should be a good turnout there (hopefully the weather will be kind).

Slightly OT (well, very), but I've been mulling over membership of the XKEC and weighing it up against the other clubs - I was a member of the JEC about 20 years ago when I had an XJ40. Would you say the XKEC is a worthwhile club to join, rather than one of the other clubs?

I joined when I got my XKR over seven years ago and to be honest the amount of knowledge kicking around there is astounding.
Also, there are quite a few outlets that offer a discount to XKEC members.
As you know parts for these beasts aren't cheap, so the discounts can cover the annual membership fee.
