So i was changing my starter and totally forgot where the Negative cable attaches to. Does it connect to one of the mounting screws on the starter, or i noticed on my transmission housing its missing one bolt, could it attach there?

 

Quick answer its gonna be somewhere frame related or dang close. more than likely the lower location you have shown

 

Pretty sure it is on the framework, under the battery box. I am SURE it does NOT go on the starter or anywhere on the engine or transmission. I'll take a look at mine tomorrow in the daylight.

....... and finally, just to confirm, the neg cable to the left isn't attached in these photos - I,m fairly sure the bolt you need is the one just visible to the right of the connector inthe photos but hopefully it should be obvious when you get back into the job - the cable is in the right general area
